● General sessions
Presentations will be made as oral and poster presentations. The speaker must be the JSME member who have paid their 2024 membership fee. If you are not a member, please complete the membership application process. Only one presentation by the same presenter is allowed. (It is acceptable to be a co-author of a presentation other than the one you are presenting.) Please finish your registration prior to abstract submission.

Please select the appropriate category according to the content of your presentation.
○ Application for the excellent poster presentation award (only for poster presentation)
For general poster presentations, awards will be given to (1) undergraduate and master’s (pre-doctoral) students, (2) doctoral (post-doctoral) students, (3) doctoral students, and separately to the best presentations.
● Symposium and workshop
Abstract submission is also required for the speaker of symposium and workshop.
Abstract Registration
The following information will be required at the registration.
- Title
- Author list
- Affiliation
- Abstract
- pdf file including 1-4
Additionally, 6. membership number and 7. registration number are required for the registration of general sessions.
(If you are under the registration of JSME membership and don’t have a valid membership ID, you can finish the submission by filling “9999” in the form. After the submission, please finish the registration of your membership as soon as possible.)
Google Form is used for abstract submission. If you do not want to create a google account or have other special circumstances, please provide the above information to the conference committee via E-mail.
Since Google Form does not allow for formatting texts (italics, superscript, subscript, etc.), we will use the uploaded pdf file to create an abstract book.
To create a PDF file, please use the following MS word file as a template, convert it to a pdf file, and upload it.

The abstract submission deadline for symposia, workshops, and lunch seminars is September 30 (Monday). Please note that the abstract registration deadline for general sessions is as indicated at the top of the page.
We are going to publish the content of symposia and other sessions, as well as the timetable of conveners and speakers, in a printed program booklet. Please use the following MS word template when registering abstracts for symposia or other sessions. While registering abstracts for each presenter in symposia is optional, if you choose to register for each presenter, please use the same template (one page) as for oral presentations.
